Facebook is introducing the biggest changes so far

The founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, announced at the annual conference of this company large, probably the most numerous so far, changes for this social network and other applications of this company.

In addition to drastic design changes, the head of Facebook assures that the company’s plan is to put the privacy and security of users first.

The announcement about the change of design resonated the most, so the Facebook logo will no longer be square, but circular, and for the first time the color will change. The mobile application will be mostly white, and the recognizable blue will go down in history, as the Croatian portal Indeks reports.

Messages that will be sent via Messenger will be fully encrypted, which means that Facebook will no longer see their content. The platform will be fully integrated with WhatsApp.

One of the novelties is that Instagram will introduce a trial option of a “private like counter”. Visitors to the profile would not see the number of likes while the owner of the profile would have access to that information, states Jutarnji list.

Also, there will be more “short-term” ways of sharing content in messages, which means that there will be no permanent record of them.

Plus, Instagram posts won’t have to start with a photo or video anymore. Content will also be able to be shared with text, stickers or drawings.

“I know that, to put it mildly, our reputation is not the strongest when it comes to privacy, but we focused on finding ways to protect users’ privacy,” Zuckerberg said.
