On the basis of the proposal of BR-VT’s Department of Transport and recommendations of Southern Design Consultants and Transport JSC (consultancy), the provincial People’s Committee requested the Ministry of Transport in writing to review the adjustment plan of the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau railway station at Sao Mai – Ben Dinh port area.
Accordingly, the adjustment plan will move the southern railway line crossing over the road to the port and run parallel to the road of the port. The railway station is located on the planned logistics land adjacent to the Sao Mai-Ben Dinh petroleum services base project.
In addition, the provincial People’s Committee also proposed the Ministry of Transport to conduct the consultancy in coordination with the Department of Transport to review the detailed planning of section to the Sao Mai-Ben Dinh port in accordance with the planning at scale of 1 / 10,000 and ensure the arrangement of the Bien Hoa-Vung Tau railway bridge.
